Having weathered severe conditions for decades, this solitary tree still stands strong and beautiful. As her roots struggle to penetrate solid rock, they garner sufficient moisture and nutrients to support the tree. Based on an actual photograph taken in Greece, this painting symbolizes tenacity and reminds me to deepen my roots and stand strong. There is value in the struggle, as long as we do not give up.
