This was my first palette knife painting. Created on a Greek island, this depicts a scene from our hotel. For me, stairs are a metaphor for life. We climb upward towards our goal one step at a time. Even when we are uncertain of our destination, the process of climbing has its own rewards. As we climb the stairs, we become stronger, learn to focus on the present, and see the broader view.
